My grandma had a stroke yesterday.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
MRI showed a definite stroke, although it was small. She has to stay until 5:00 or so this afternoon. And she has to have another EKG done as an outpatient service and a long-term halter monitor for her heart with a consultation with a cardiologist. They put her on blood thinners, too.
Thank you for your continued thoughts/prayers. It’s just tough because she’s 85 and I don’t know how much time I have left with her. She is so important to me and is basically like my mom.

I hope she pulls through this okay, just know that no matter what happens, family is the most important thing to keep on your mind at this moment.
I lost my grandmother in February to the bastard, “C” word, and our family keeping together like it did is the only reason I’m not locked up. Stay strong, my friend, and I hope everything turns out alright.

Love to you and your Grandma. Both of mine were among the finest women ever to walk the earth. As I am sure yours is. Grandmas are special, hope for a swift recovery.

not good
my dad dies from a stroke nearly 2 years ago.
he had a minor stroke about 10 years prior to that.
spend time with her while you can.
